Dolly Parton has taken Hollywood — and Dollywood — by storm, but now she's setting her sights on Broadway.
The beloved country music icon announced plans at CMA Fest on Tuesday to bring a new musical, "Hello, I'm Dolly," inspired by her own life, to Broadway in 2026.
"Hello, I'm Dolly, and I lived my whole life to see this show on stage. I've written many original songs for the show and included all your favorites in it as well," Parton said in a release Thursday. "You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll clap, you'll stomp, it truly is a Grand Ol' Opera. Pun and fun intended. Don't miss it!"

"Hello, I'm Dolly" is slated to feature a score from Parton including a slew of new songs written specifically for the musical along with the 26-time Billboard country chart-topper's biggest hits.

The country legend shows no signs of stopping or slowing down as she has introduced project after project the past few years. Last year, Parton released her highest debuting album "Rockstar," which skyrocketed to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 200 and hit No. 1 on six Billboard charts. The rock record followed her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
Last October, she released her second New York Times bestselling coffee table book "Behind The Seams: My Life in Rhinestones," which chronicled her life and career's intersection with personal fashion.

That's not the only new chapter in her storybook career. During Fan Fair X at CMA Fest, Parton also introduced plans for an upcoming Nashville hotel.
"It's true that I'm going to have a hotel right here in Nashville," she said.
Parton said the Songteller Hotel, aptly titled after her book of the same name, will open in Nashville and will also feature a museum.
